Inspirational Volunteer Stories Needed

RSS XML FeedBackground Active Feb 11, 2007 to Jun 11, 2007

VCRI is looking for stories in the spirit of those published in Chicken Soup for the Volunteer’s Soul – Stories to Celebrate the Spirit of Courage, Caring and Community; stories of how your volunteer efforts have made a difference in someone’s life and your own; or how a volunteer has made a difference in your life or that of a friend or family member. Perhaps volunteering has changed the way you do business.

Stories should be between 250 and 500 words, include dates, locations, photos and relevant contact information of those individuals or agencies mentioned by name and must be verifiable in some way (i.e. name, address, phone, e-mail). . Submission of a story is considered permission for VCRI to publish it in various forms of print and electronic media. Submission of a story does in no way guarantee publication and use of story or obligate VCRI to do so in any way.
