February is the perfect time to start volunteering.  The RI Blood Center is a private, not for profit organization that processes and distributes all of the blood products used in Rhode Island. The need for blood always exists and the supply must be replenished daily. Volunteers are an integral part of the work that we do and when you assist us you are truly helping save lives.

The Rhode Island Blood Center was founded by area hospitals in 1979 as a non-profit community based blood center. Our goal is to ensure that all Rhode Islanders have immediate access to a safe and plentiful blood supply.
