Agency Details:
The Danbury Jaycees
Our mission is to provide the opportunity for young professionals ages 21-40 to gain leadership development, community involvement and personal growth.
Description:
The Danbury Jaycees gives young people the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. We do this through the various projects we hold through out the year for our members and the Danbury Community. We hold our membership meetings every third Tuesday of the month at Outback Steakhouse in a private room at 7:30 p.m. for networking and to lean about upcoming events.
History:
We were established in 1920 to provide opportunities for young men to develop personal and leadership skills through service to others. Later on, the Danbury Jaycees expanded to include women, reflecting the growing influence and leadership of women in America,.
