Morning Glory

Catholic Charities mission is to put faith into action by providing food, housing, mental health, adoption, immigration and family support services to the needy and vulnerable of all faiths in Fairfield County.

Description:
Morning Glory is a breakfast program open Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 9:00AM. Breakfast is prepared and served at Dorothy Day Hospitality House. By doing this we are able to feed both families and adults who are experiencing homelessness in the area. The program serves a healthy, balanced breakfast to the homeless and financially disadvantaged in our community. Breakfast is used as an outreach tool to assist people and to engage them in appropriate services.

History:
Morning Glory opened it's doors on October 23, 2007 but Catholic Charities has a long history in the Greater Danbury area spanning over 30 years. Currently Catholic Charities has 4 other programs in our community helping serve the most vulnerable populations.
