Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteering opportunities for this event are flexible both in intensity and in length of commitment. The walk will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008. Any time or energy you have available is welcome – and will make a difference. LONG-TERM Strides Prospecting/Promoting Volunteers are needed to help recruit new teams of walkers, contact past walkers, and promote the event by placing posters and brochures throughout the community. SHORT-TERM Day of Event Volunteers are needed at the event to help with specific tasks, i.e. setting up tents, replenishing water and ice, hanging banners and signs, and cleaning up. These volunteers may work during any time frame they choose.
Office Help - at different times during the year there is a great need for help with projects in our Wilton office. These tasks range in variety and in time commitment, including: stuffing large mailings, assembling packets, phone calls, labeling, and copying. Such volunteers are welcome at any time during office hours.
