Volunteer Opportunity Details:

As a volunteer at our busy Senior Center, you will assist the Meal Site manager by setting tables and serving meals in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hours are 11:00-1:00, perfect for a senior, a mom or dad, or a college student filling time between classes. Call Judy or Kathy at 312-5665 if interested or for more information.

On-site orientation is simple and straightforward. Servers should be prepared to follow guidelines of the food service and the health department.

Directions:

Directions to New Fairfield Senior Center Westbound on I-84 take Exit 6. Go right at end of ramp and stay in left lane to go North on Route 37. Go to * Eastbound on I-84 take Exit 5. Go straight at stop sign at end of ramp and straight again at traffic light onto North Street. Continue straight through two more lights until you pass under highway underpass. Stay in left lane at next 2 lights to go North on Route 37. Go to* *Continue for approximately 4.7 miles to traffic light at the center of New Fairfield (by Mobil Station). Continue straight through the light. Senior Center is .2 miles past intersection on Left.
