The Mr. Fix-it Program is an established program designed to help senior citizens and/or handicapped people who are in need of minor household repairs which would contribute to their health and safety. This is a free volunteer service to eligible seniors citizens.
Mr. Fix-it is in need of handy people who have the necessary skills to help with minor household repairs such as fixing doorknobs, tacking down loose carpeting, unsticking windows and doors, replacing broken windows, fixing broken chairs, replacing electrical plugs on lamps and fixing stair rails. We will schedule repairs at the convenience of the volunteers.
Volunteers will complete a RSVP application and background check.  This opportunity is sponsored by: RSVP Of Northern Fairfield County
