Most of our nurses work one three to four hour session every 6-8 weeks. In Danbury we have adult clinic sessions on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. In addition we have a Tuesday and Thursday morning Continuity Clinic and a Diabetes Clinic once a month. Two volunteer RNs and one or more screener and interpreter staff each clinic. Our full time Clinic Director is present during each session to provide continuity and coordination. Our patients are pro-active in care for their health. The patients acknowledge and appreciate the level of care provided, as well as our program's continuing commitment to each of them. As such we enjoy a high rate of patient compliance. We require a CT Rn license and a completed AmeriCares Free Clinic application, found on our web site. We provide malpractice insurance at no charge to all nurses who volunteer and meet our insurer's requirements.  This opportunity is sponsored by: AmeriCares Free Clinic Of Danbury
