Relay For Life is an overnight community event in which teams of 8 to 15 people take turns walking around a track for 18-24 hours. There is a carnival like atmosphere, with music, games, and activities, which encourage people to camp out overnight. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the HOPE that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. Get Involved! Become a committee member, Team Captain or Volunteer Day Of! Contact Kristen.Alldredge@cancer.org The event will take place on June 27-28, 2009.
