The American Red Cross is in your community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Assist the Red Cross in carrying out our mission by helping with special events, fundraising, and health fairs.
Assist in planning and implementing fundraising/ special events in one or more ways: help to solicit sponsors, door prizes, or other items needed for event. Distribute marketing materials (e/g/ posters, brochures, etc.) Assist with office functions. Participate in the event as assigned.
Enthusiasm and commitment to the Red Cross mission a must. Need to be detail-oriented, able to work independently and with a group. Must have courteous and professional demeanor. Must be reliable in attending meetings and following through on commitments.  This opportunity is sponsored by: American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter
