Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on November 20, 2009 |
In order to ensure our cats remain social (adoptable) while they are at the shelter, we ask volunteers to work with them to groom, play, pet and snuggle. Some of our shy cats require extra attention which may be as simple as sitting quietly near the animal while speaking to them so that they become or remain comfortable with human interaction. In addition, Cat Socializers feed a wet-food meal to our cats, scoop kitty litter, wash/dry and fold laundry and do light sweeping and cleaning as needed. Prospective volunteers must attend General Orientation. Please see our website www.daws.org for information on upcoming orientations. This opportunity is sponsored by: Danbury Animal Welfare Society
