Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This important volunteer position is key to running our active center. Responsibilities include greeting the public, answering the phones and being a point of contact during the shift. Some very light clerical and housekeeping duties are included. Receptionists work 3-4 hours in morning or afternoon during our open hours (9am-4pm). Openings currently exist for regular shifts and for additional substitute receptionists.

Directions to New Fairfield Senior Center Westbound on I-84 take Exit 6. Go right at end of ramp and stay in left lane to go North on Route 37. Go to * Eastbound on I-84 take Exit 5. Go straight at stop sign at end of ramp and straight again at traffic light onto North Street. Continue straight through two more lights until you pass under highway underpass. Stay in left lane at next 2 lights to go North on Route 37. Go to* *Continue for approximately 4.7 miles to traffic light at the center of New Fairfield (by Mobil Station). Continue straight through the light. Senior Center is .2 miles past intersection on Left.
