Junior Achievement of Greater Danbury is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to teach elementary, middle school or high school classes during school hours. Volunteers may come from the corporate world, parent groups, university students, retired individuals, or anyone who has a desire to interact with children. Classes are 45 minutes per day, one day a week. Sessions run from five to eight weeks, depending on the grade level. Volunteers are needed in Danbury, Bethel and Newtown. All lessons and activities stress the relevance of education to the workplace and reinforce the concept of life-long learning. For further details, call Joe Kelly, Program Coordinator, at 270-1252.
