The new Youth Volunteer Corps of Western CT is the first YVC in the state of Connecticut and will offer youth ages 11-18 many opportunities to become community volunteers.  The initial meeting of the YVC will be held on Friday, October 2, 7 pm at the Danbury Mall.  This will be a chance for you to find out more about this exciting program and how you can become involved.  The first YVC project will focus on hunger and will culminate at the end of October.  We will be discussing the project at the initial meeting.  For more information please contact Jessica, the YVC Manager, at 203-797-1154 or yvc@volunteerdanbury.org.
