Volunteer Opportunities for Western Connecticut

Community Food Drive

Active Oct 8, 2009 to Oct 23, 2009

Non-persishable food items are being collected at the Danbury Fair Mall from now until Friday, October 23. Items should be dropped off at Guest Relations (lower level). On Friday, October 23, beginning at 7 pm youth ages 11-18 will gather together to build a wall of food. At the end of the evening, the food will be donated to two food pantries in Danbury and one in New Milford. This is a project of the new Youth Volunteer Corps of Western CT.
