Mission Statement: Consistent with Jewish values and traditions, the Mission of The Jewish Home is to provide to primarily Jewish seniors the healthcare, housing and community-based services required to achieve the highest quality of life attainable.

The Jewish Home is a non-profit facility governed by a highly dedicated Board of Directors from our surrounding communities. Set on 15 acres in Fairfield, Connecticut, our Bennett, Tandet and Kuriansky Pavilions provide an environment of care enriched by art and architecture

Description:
At The Jewish Home for the Elderly more than 200 volunteers enhance the lives of the 330 people who live in this state of the art long term care facility. Over 700 employees from around the world share the Home's values with residents of many heritages and everyone is part of The Jewish Home family. In addition to residence opportunities, the Home is a total source for senior services providing geriatric assessments and care management, short stay rehabilitation,out-patient physical and occupational therapy, two Adult Day Care Centers, home care by Compassionate Care Companions and The Center for Elder Abuse Prevention.

History:
The Jewish Home was developed by Fairfield County visionaries and opened the Tandet Pavilion in 1973 with 120 residents. Since then, in response to the growing need for senior services, the Home added the Bennett Pavilion and the Kuriansky Pavilion. In recognition of the need for increased services to support seniors living in their own homes the Home broadened its scope to continue enhancing lives for generations.
