The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Description:
The goal of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford is to provide youth, ages 6-18, with comprehensive educational and recreational programs which promote social responsibility and personal health, develop academic, life, and leadership skills, and enhance cultural awareness and environmental responsibility.

Activities and programs are offered all year long - through our after school program and summer camp program. A Counselor-in-Training program is available to teens, ages 14-15.

History:
The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford was established in 1927 and has been in existence for over 75 years. The present Clubhouse was built in 1991 and a state of the art Gymnasium were constructed in 1994. The Club is dedicated to providing a safe haven where young people can participate in positive activities under the guidance of caring adults. The Club serves over 1,200 children ages 6-18.
