Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Description:
Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County serves clients who are referred by member organizations throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties, diverse not-for-profit organizations including homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, job training programs and other agencies. In order to schedule a "suiting" appointment, women must have a job interview scheduled or be preparing to attend a Job Fair. The "suiting" of clients symbolizes our faith in every woman's ability to succeed. Each client is treated with dignity and respect.
History:
We have provided complete interview outfits to thousands of Fairfield and New Haven County women since opening in 1998. Dress for Success Worldwide has assisted more than one million women through affiliates in numerous cities around the United states, Canada, Great Britain and New Zealand.
