The Red Cross – Greenwich Chapter is looking for volunteers to provide guidance, assistance and supervision to our youth volunteers involved with the Red Cross Safe Rides program. You would be assisting in the event of emergency or logistical problems by provide a communication link between the student team leader and the adult leaders of the program. Some of the duties required would be; checking the vehicles before the shift starts and ends, assist with cleanup, keep an eye on youth volunteers, etc The hours of need are Friday and Saturday evenings. We ask all volunteers to arrive at 9:45PM and leave at 2 AM for night shifts. Either stop by our office or visit our website at http://www.greenwichredcross.org to fill out an application! Rewarding way to serve the community

The work done by volunteers at the Red Cross includes teaching first aid and CPR classes, volunteering to man first-aid stations at large outdoor events, and helping people who have been displaced from their homes by fire or natural disasters.
