Attention: All Former Class Clowns! Are you still making others laugh? Can you laugh at yourself? Have you always wanted to don a big red nose? Are you looking for a little work/life balance? This may be your opportunity! The Health and Humor Associates (HaHa) is a group of dedicated volunteers providing specially trained, caring clown visits to Stamford Hospital patients of all ages on a routine and special request basis. They are looking to increase the size of the group to better serve the community. There will be a new training program beginning on May 14, 2009. If you would like to learn more about becoming a clown-doctor of mirth, contact Nancy Cross at 203-966-1760 nattycross@optonline.net or the Volunteer Office at 203-276-7521 to schedule an interview. Overall Experience

A terrific learning experience I learn so much while I'm over there
 |
I'm a volunteer in Stamford Hospital working in the Medical Records department. Everyone has been nice and helpful to me make me feel at home. I'm learning and gaining a lot of experience in working in an office. Hopefully get the experience one day to get a job in working in an office. posted by lynnhuntress73 on November 22, 2009 |
