Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Prospective Silver Hill Hospital volunteers are invited to share their special artistic talents in drawing, panting or other media in a one-hour class designed around your interests and availability. Some of our patients work is featured in a quarterly in-house art/literature magazine called "The Silver Lining."

We seek someone who has a passion for his/her work and wishes to share it with our patients, who may desire to express themselves creatively through visual arts.

From I-95 or the Connecticut Turnpike, take exit 15 to Route 7 North. Take exit 2 and turn right onto Route 123 North. Turn right again to follow Route 123 North. Silver Hill Hospital is approximately ½ mile down Valley Road. From the Merritt Parkway Southbound, take Exit 38 and turn left onto Route 123 North. Follow approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Route 106 North. Follow approximately 2 miles. At stop sign, turn left onto Valley Road. At second stop sign, continue straight on Valley Road. Silver Hill Hospital is located ½ mile on Valley Road. Admissions is located on the East Campus. From the Merritt Parkway Northbound, take Exit 38 and turn right onto Route 123 North.
