| Last updated on September 23, 2009 |
This volunteer opportunity exists in our Learning Center between the hours 2:30 - 6:00pm for members ages 6-12 and (on certain days) between 6:00 - 8:00pm for teens, ages 13 - 18. Members coming to the learning Center during the hours listed need assistance with their homework and special projects. There exists a focus on math and reading but a volunteer may be asked to assist with other subjects as well. Volunteers must be willing to complete an application and submit to a confidential background check. This policy is in place to protect both our members and volunteers and ensures that the Club adheres to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America's requirements for recruiting both volunteers and staff. This opportunity is sponsored by: Boys and Girls Club of Stamford
