Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The nursing station desk on the cardiology floor is a hub of activity. The unit coordinator interacts with patients, families, visitors, doctors, nurses and the ever ringing phones. A volunteer to assist with light clerical duties, run an occasional errand and take an accurate message would be of great service to everyone on the unit. If you enjoy a fast paced environment, this is the volunteer position for you.
Potential volunteers are required to attend a general orientation, complete an application and schedule an interview to discuss next steps. This opportunity is sponsored by: Stamford Hospital

Overall Experience

A terrific learning experience I learn so much while I'm over there
 |
I'm a volunteer in Stamford Hospital working in the Medical Records department. Everyone has been nice and helpful to me make me feel at home. I'm learning and gaining a lot of experience in working in an office. Hopefully get the experience one day to get a job in working in an office. posted by lynnhuntress73 on November 22, 2009 |
