Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on February 12, 2009 |
The Stamford Historical Society has had a website: www.stamfordhistory.org got over six years. In 2003 the website and our webmaster won an Award of Merit from the Connecticut League of History Organizations - it was the first time a website had been so recognized. Our website currently looks rather outdated. The redesign would effect mostly the portals such as the Start page, the Main page, etc., the balance of the actual content pages can stand as they are now. A redesign format has already been selected but our Webmaster (who also runs our Blog) is not up to date with the most recent ins and outs. We need a volunteer with the technical background and interest to come to our aid. This volunteer position can very definitely be done off site with only occasional visits to the Society headquarters.
The volunteer should have web design experience with knowledge of CSS. This opportunity is sponsored by: Stamford Historical Society
We need volunteers who are free at these times
