Most of our nurses work one four hour clinic session every 6 -8 weeks. In Bridgeport we have both adult walk-in clinic sessions and Continuity Clinics on Tuesday mornings and afternoons, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Continuity Clinics are held for our established patients with chronic illness such as diabetes or hypertension. Two volunteer RNs and one or more Interpreters staff each clinic. Our full time RN Clinic Director is present during each session to provide continuity and coordination. Our patients are pro-active in care for their health. The patients acknowledge and appreciate the level of care provided as well as our program's continuing commitment to each of them and as a result we enjoy a high rate of patient compliance. We require a Ct RN license and a completed AmeriCares Free Clinic application which can be found on our website. We provide malpractice insurance at no charge to all nurse volunteers who meet our insurer's requirements. This opportunity is sponsored by: Americares Free Clinic Of Bridgeport
We need volunteers who are free at these times
