FAP is raising funds to purchase a farm in Fairfield County to create a Farm Living and Learning Academy for grown children with autism, when their parents can no longer care for them.
We have a business plan; we need to raise significant funds to purchase the farm. More information, please call 661-8510
Experience in writing grants and who can "think out of the box," to help us find donors interested in the project. We are pioneers in creating supports for adult children with autism, the "Forgotten People." Foundations and donors are generally not even aware that the children with autism do become adults with autism and still need the supports provided for them at a younger age.
This job requires a creative mind; someone who jumps at the opportunity to have a stimulating initiative for him/her to participate in.
