Volunteer Opportunity Details:

After successfully completing a 35-hour Certification training, volunteers help support those in need through our 24-hour crisis hotline. The work is done from your home or by cell phone through an answering service. You select the shifts you would like to take and answer calls during those shifts. Our volunteers also accompany victims to the local hospitals and police departments when needed. Potential volunteers must complete a 35 hour certification training. Volunteers must also be willing to go to hospital and/or police station during assigned shifts.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Sexual Assault Crisis and Education Center
