The Red Cross Chapter provides courses and presentations in First Aid, CPR, HIV/AIDS, Preventing Disease Transmission, Basic Aid Training, Community Disaster Education as well as many others. We are looking for enthusiastic and hard working individuals to assist us as instructors with our trainings and courses. We ask that all volunteers can commit to at least one weekend every few months, and complete the necessary training to become a certified instructor. 17 hours of instructor training. as well as teaching segments of 4.5 hours- 8 hours. Teaching opportunities available daytime, evening and weekend hours- you provide us with times you are available. Overall Experience

Rewarding way to serve the community

The work done by volunteers at the Red Cross includes teaching first aid and CPR classes, volunteering to man first-aid stations at large outdoor events, and helping people who have been displaced from their homes by fire or natural disasters.
