Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on November 3, 2009 |
The feeling of a tender touch of the hand is very soothing and relaxing, especially so for patients in a hospital. At the request of our nursing staff, Tender Touch was developed as a complimentary service for selected patients. Just a few minutes lightly rubbing patients hands with moisturizing lotion will help bring that human touch we all enjoy. This is truly an opportunity to make a difference in adding to the care and comfort of our patients, and a rewarding experience for you as well. Potential volunteers will attend a general orientation, complete an application and schedule an interview to discuss schedules and next steps. This opportunity is sponsored by: Stamford Hospital

Overall Experience

A terrific learning experience I learn so much while I'm over there
 |
I'm a volunteer in Stamford Hospital working in the Medical Records department. Everyone has been nice and helpful to me make me feel at home. I'm learning and gaining a lot of experience in working in an office. Hopefully get the experience one day to get a job in working in an office. posted by lynnhuntress73 on November 22, 2009 |
