Clerical Help Needed For Connecticut Legal Services

Administrative/Clerical Volunteer Needed about 10 hours per month

 

Connecticut Legal Services operates a free legal clinic for day laborers who have been cheated out of their earnings by their employers. The clinic operates on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month with the help of volunteers.  CLS is seeking a volunteeer to:  open and close case files using our computer case-management program; scan data into the computerized files; data entry using Excel; and aswer telephone messages left by our predominatly Spanish-speaking clients.  Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.  These tasks need to be completed following each clinic.

 

The volunteer will work in the Stamford office of Connecticut Legal Services at 20 Summer Street between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm., Monday through Thursday.
