Inform, inspire and educate our community by bringing people and ideas together through the powerful medium of public broadcasting is the mission at Arizona Public Media - KUAT Channel 6. We offer access to enriching children's programs, art, culture, travel, science and discovery to everyone in our community, especially for those who wouldn't have a chance otherwise.
Description:
Arizona Public Media - KUAT Channel 6 is affiliated with PBS and NPR, brings award-winning educational television, online and radio programming to Southern Arizona to inform, enlighten, and inspire.
In addition to programming, we are moving from solely being a broadcast entity into a community building organization through the many channels of media.
Staff, volunteers and interns engage in activities that support membership drives, station tours, community events and technical support for public broadcasting.
