Arts For Life Community
The Arts for Life Community unites and empowers the underserved with the greater arts community through education, special performances and events, and a dedication to community enrichment.
Description:
Arts for Life Community provides quality classes in various art forms, special performance events, community building and service projects that promote social change. Our desire is to see the city of Tucson fulfill its creative promise to the world through passionate people who are called to express themselves through performing arts.
Classes are available in keyboard, drums, guitar, chorus, art, beading, karate, journalism, film acting and more at the Z Mansion location. Scholarships are provided for those who qualify.
Satellite programs in local shelters provide weekly music classes for the children housed in those locations.
Special performances throughout the year combine the various art forms and give the A4L Community opportunities to share our artistry with the greater Tucson community.
Weekly planned service projects are offered to build relationships and to provide opportunities to work together to enrich the community at large through acts of service and/or our artistic giftings. These projects are listed on our website at artsforlifecommmunity.org, and all are welcome to participate.
