Family Housing Resources, Inc. (FHR) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Arizona corporation with a primary mission to assist low to moderate income families and individuals obtain decent, affordable housing.
Description:
FHR was founded in 1991 and became a nonprofit corporation in February 1994. The organization has three divisions: (1) Multifamily Residential Division which serves to maintain FHR’s rental housing properties, (2) the Homeownership Division which provides homebuyer and homeowner counseling and assistance programs and (3) the Residential Mortgage Loan Division.
The Homeownership Division provides individualized education and counseling to homebuyers wishing to purchase a home and for homeowners involved in mortgage default. Agency counselors provides a great deal of information and guidance to both homebuyers and homeowners especially with the constant changes in the homeownership industry. The Division also has a variety of programs that can assist these households.
