The Microbusiness Advancement Center (MAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the economic growth of Southern Arizona and the individual professional development of its Clients by providing training, resources, referrals, support and advocacy to those seeking to create, sustain, or grow microbusinesses.
Description:
MAC services are divided into two areas: microbusiness training and technical support plus the FUEL Microloan Program. Within these two areas, special emphasis is given to serving women entrepreneurs through the Tucson/Pima County Women's Business Center. MAC is also dedicated to serving the Spanish-speaking entrepreneur, by providing training, support and lending services in Spanish. MAC's business training and support services include the following programs and services: a 4- session course covering introduction, overview and feasibility of business ownership, a 12 week business planning course, a mentoring program, one-on-one business counseling, business plan reviews, quarterly "free clinics" for local business owners, loan packaging, SBA loan pre-qualification and the agency's microloan program FUEL.
