By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids. One child at a time in our own communites.

Description:
Every Optimist is a volunteer, working in their own community as eyes and ears, to see the needs in that community. The Optimist members become the work force to make a difference in their community.
Examples: We providing back packs filled with school supplies to local schools each year. We picking up trash in our neighborhood 4 times each year. Every year we adopting over 30 families, at Christmas, providing food, clothing, bikes, and special needs. We visit the children at UMC with Santa at Christmas & Christmas in July, and with the Easter Bunny every spring. We providing a picture and toy to every child in the hospital. These are just a few of the things we do.
