Access Tucson is one of the nation's elite public access television centers.It is a community resource facilitating public dialogue and participatory democracy through citizen access to television and other electronic media.
Description:
Access Tucson offers free and low-cost training in the following areas: Basic television production; field production, studio production; remote production; digital editing and electronic graphics. Access Tucson works with individuals and organizations that otherwise could not afford to get their message out to the community. Membership is free and open to anyone who lives or works in the city of Tucson. Completed programs are cablecast up to 8 times a month on one of 3 public access channels which also simultaneously webcast over the net. Volunteers are an integral part of Access Tucson's existence. Volunteers crew EVERY production whether it be for individual producers or for Access Tucson productions. If you want to learn television skills, meet new people, have some fun or help your community, come join us!
