Our Family's mission is to make our community a better place to live, to grow up, and to grow older.
Description:
Our Family provides services to individuals and families at every stage of life - from the newborn children of homeless youth, to the frail elderly in need of support to maintain independence.
We offer services in four major program areas: Education & Prevention, Homeless Services, Counseling, and Services to Older & Disabled Adults. Within these areas, we provide more than 20 different programs and services, many at no cost to individuals and families in need.
Volunteers are an integral part of many programs at Our Family. Programs like Community Mediation and the Senior Companion Program, are built on the foundation of volunteer participation. More than 100 volunteers each year make programs like these possible.
