Arizona's Children Association
The mission of Arizona's Children Association (ACA) is based on a strong commitment to the welfare of children, adults and their families. Our highest priority is to help create and promote healthy family environments on a permanent basis. Toward that end, we will provide a broad spectrum of services that foster healing and promote the emotional well-being of children, adults and families. We will work and advocate in every venue necessary to accomplish this mission.
Description:
Founded in 1912, initially as Arizona's Children's Home, the state's first orphanage, Arizona's Children Association is presently the oldest and largest statewide comprehensive child welfare and behavioral health nonprofit agency in Arizona. More than 600 professionally trained, caring and dedicated staff work every day to break the cycle of abuse and help children and families begin the process of healing. With more than 40 programs, each year, the Association serves more than 45,000 children up to age 18 and their families across all 15 counties in the state. As the only agency of it's kind in Arizona to offer programs and services in all 15 counties throughout the state, Arizona's Children Association is an invaluable resource in the areas of Prevention, Intervention and Permanency. No less than 89 cents of every dollar is designated to programs and services benefiting Arizona's children and families in need.
