Amphitheater Public Schools Foundation
The Amphitheater Public Schools Foundation promotes academic excellence through the expansion of resources that enrich the education, development, and well being of students in the Amphitheater Public Schools.
Description:
The Amphi Foundation raises funds through sponsored events, grants and donations from the community. The organization involves volunteers in all areas to implement its programs. Through these efforts, the Amphi Foundation is able to provide services for students and families including the Amphi Clothing Bank, vouchers for school and sports physicals, athletic fee waivers, and emergency prescription assistance. The Foundation also awards grants to student academic teams that have qualified for regional and national competitions.
The Foundation's largest and most ambitious program is the 21st Century Classrooms Initiative, through which we are providing interactive white boards for classrooms throughout the school district.
In October, 2007, the Foundation opened Sequels, an upscale resale boutique located at the southwest corner of Oracle and Magee in Oro Valley.
