Arizona Native Plant Society/Sonoran Desert Weedwackers
The Arizona Native Plant Society is a statewide nonprofit organization devoted to Arizona's native plants. Its mission is to promote knowledge, appreciation, conservation, and restoration of Arizona native plants and their habitats.
Description:
One of the conservation activities of AZNPS is to remove invasive grasses from Tucson Mountain Park on a monthly basis, meeting at the Caretaker's House across from the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum on the third Saturday of the month. See the AZNPS website (aznps.com) for more details.
