Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers 16 years of age and older are invited to help students after school, 2:30 - 4:00, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. ACHIEVE after school programs, staffed by certified teachers and instructional aides, work with volunteers to help students succeed academically. Volunteers help students kindergarten to 5th grade, providing them with extra support in basic math and reading skills and providing homework help. Volunteers may work one-on-one with students, work with students in small groups or may provide general classroom help under the guidance of ACHIEVE staff.

All ACHIEVE volunteers must complete an application and fingerprinting and receive clearance before they can begin volunteer service. An interview and a short training/orientation is required.
