The Valley of the Moon historic site is looking for volunteers to help with ongoing grant research and writing. The Valley of the Moon is Tucson's only historic fantasy fairy land, dedicated to the philosophies of George Phar Legler who believed that Happiness is Given and Not Sold. The Valley of the Moon was constructed in 1932 out of rock and imagination. It is a series of winding paths, fairy houses, fountains, and secret caves. Volunteers are needed to research and apply for eligible grant opportunities. No experience is required but excellent writing skills are required.
Writing skills, commitment, determination, patience, teamwork, and creativity are required for this opportunity. This opportunity is sponsored by: Valley Of The Moon

Overall Experience

Always a fun experience
 |
The Valley is a wonderful Tucson tradition! I participated in a performance of "the Hobbit" in April 05, and I had an absolute blast. It was a great experience helping keep the legend of George Legler, that ol' mountain gnome, alive, and I hope more people volunteer and make it even better than before. posted by melimsah on October 20, 2005 |
