Do you care about the environment? Do you want to make a visible difference in your community? Come be an Earth Mover & Shaper as we shift the land to gather water, grow native plants, provide habitat for birds and animals, and a space for all community members to enjoy. Learn about the issues facing our Earth today and techniques to live more environmentally friendly, such as rainwater harvesting, organic gardening, and permaculture design. Please wear clothes that you can get down and dirty in (closed-toe shoes, shorts, or pants you can move in, a hat or bandana, a comfortable t-shirt or sweatshirt) and your desire to make a positive change! Volunteers must be between the ages of 11 and 18! This opportunity is sponsored by: Youth Volunteer Corps

I LOVE HUMMINGBIRDS
 |
I had so much fun at this project! I had to get up REALLY early and we had a long car ride but it was totally worth it! My favorite part was being able to catch the hummingbirds on my own. I learned a lot about these awesome birds.
