Do you love to play board or card games? Meet vibrant new people and brighten their day by playing Canasta, MahJonng, Chess, Bingo, Checkers, or Scrabble. Our elderly residents enjoy activities that involve one to one interaction as well as group participation. Just an hour one day a week or more will be a great way to spend your time laughing with others and bringing joy to many!
This opportunity is available for those who enjoy arts & crafts as well. Sharing your talents and creativity is a great way to enhance the lives of the elderly.
Volunteers must provide their own transportation to the facility, be able to encourage residents to join in the activity, be able to set up and lead the activity, and must have a cheerful disposition.
Volunteers must complete the application process which includes a criminal background check and tuberculosis screening.
