The Health Education Project Overall Experience    Finally I found an agency that didn't keep me waiting for weeks! The Director responded immediately to my emailed inquiry about volunteering at T.H.E. Project and she met with me within two days. We began working together that day on some projects that use my professional skills. A week later the two of us went to a facility for an orientation and a week later I was teaching a life skills class to juveniles. I don't know about you, but when I decide to volunteer somewhere, I don't like to be kept waiting while the agency gets itself organized.
