We need YOUR help to distribute AIDSWALK POPs and Posters.
What the heck is a POP?
POP is a nifty little acronym for “point of purchase” display. In this case, it refers to brochure holders which contain AIDSWALK 2007 information and registration materials. These “POPs” get set out in local businesses, on counters and by cash registers. They help us get the word out about AIDSWALK!
What would I be doing exactly?
You would be a tremendous help in assuring the success of SAAF’s largest fundraiser! More specifically, you would be part of a team distributing POPs around Tucson.
How does it work?
When you contact Danielle Walsh (dwalsh@saaf.org), she will help you find routes convenient to your home or work, and give you all the supplies you’ll need, including written instructions, a script for talking with business owners, and even a $5 coupon for lunch at Eegee’s.
After you have finished distributing POPs to businesses on your route, we ask that you please return extra materials to SAAF and give us a brief update on your progress.
How long does it take?
The length of your shift will depend on how many routes you take and which routes you choose.
A note about routes:
We will try our very best to assign you a route that’s convenient for you (i.e. close to your home or close to SAAF), but please keep in mind that it’s first come, first served with picking routes!
When do I need to have routes distributed by?
We would like to complete all routes by Sunday, August 11th.
How do I sign up?
Please contact Danielle Walsh, at 628-7223, ext 245, or at dwalsh@saaf.org.
