The Department of Economic Security's mission is to enable the public we serve to maintain or move toward economic and social self-sufficiency through an integrated service delivery system.
the Department is continually seeking ways to deliver services in new and innovative ways to meet that challenge. Volunteers can make a difference. With your help, the Department can do more to help people become independent and can do a better job in providing the support that they need as they strive to meet their goals.
Rated a 5 Star Experience by a Volunteer!
“I volunteered with DES in 2007 and will return in 2008…DES and volunteering gave me the experience, and if you are considering a change in careers it is really impressive on a resume. DES helps so many; why not help DES by volunteering?”
