ESL Tutoring!
This is an opportunity to work with people from other countries who are learning to speak English. (Knowing Spanish is NOT required although multi-cultural background or experiences can be helpful.)
Pima College Adult Education has many ESL classes at three different learning centers. Typically, volunteers are asked to work individually with students who will benefit most from one to one attention. Volunteers work under the supervision of professional staff.
Training consists of observing other classes and instructors and attending the monthly volunteer orientation.
