Gift Shop Workers Needed To Make A Difference
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Sep 2, 2009 to Sep 24, 2009

University Medical Center Gift Shop is more than a shop with gifts. A lot of times it is a haven for nurses and doctors who have spent their hours at work helping people get well. Some times the shop is a respite for the concerned parent whose child has cancer. It can also be a place of joy and celebration for the parent whose baby has just been born. Whatever the occasion, you can help make the Gift Shop a wonderful experience for those who need to see your smile, feel your empathy or celebrate new life with you.

More than a retail experience, the Gift Shop offers the opportunity to build relationships with other volunteers and UMC staff. Additionally, all of the profit made is given back to the hospital for specific areas of need that might not otherwise receive funding.
We look for energetic, gregarious people who like the public and know how to treat customers. You will run a cash register, stock items, help the customer find just the right item and have lots of fun.r, stock items and help customers looking for special items.

Come join us if you want to belong to a great organization and have a lot of rewarding relationships. We are waiting for you.

The first step to volunteering is an orientation. The next is a health screening. These are regulatory requirements.
Volunteers need to be active and energetic.
