Give A Ride To Those Who Can't Drive
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Apr 23, 2007 to May 14, 2007

A person with seizure disorder has as much potential as anyone else.

The Epilepsy Outreach Project encourages healthy attitudes toward epilepsy and the capabilities of those who live with it.  Often the handicap comes from unnecessary restrictions, inadequate medical care, or not being accepted as a competent person.

Epilepsy Outreach drivers are called infrequently and as agreed upon to fit their preferred schedule.  They drive folks with seizures -- who cannot drive --  to errands or appointments.  It's a great way to meet nice people, enjoy good conversation, and make a new friend or two.

The Outreach Project also needs a volunteer, who has a creative or artistic sense as well as basic computer skills, to create layout and graphics for a three-panel display board.  The board will be used to help diverse populations become educated about seizure disorders.  The time estimated for this project is a few hours.

For more information on either opportunity, please contact Edward Schevill at 520-326-6690.
